Since April 2020, employers have been required to provide a written statement of employment particulars to all employees and workers from day one of their employment. Here's what it must include.

The Employment Rights Act 1996 (as amended by the Employment Rights Act 1999 and Good Work Plan reforms) requires employers to give all employees a written statement of particulars. Failure to do so can result in employment tribunal awards of 2-4 weeks' pay.
