Generate a compliant employment contract for England and Wales — updated for the Employment Rights Act 2025. Day-one SSP, paternity leave, PILON. From £4.99.
An Employment Contract is the written statement of particulars every UK employer must provide under section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996, plus the additional contractual terms governing the employment relationship — duties, hours, pay, benefits, notice, restrictive covenants and the rest.
Every UK employee — and from 2020, every worker — must receive a written statement of employment particulars on or before day one of employment. From 2025, the Employment Rights Act 2025 introduces further changes: day-one paternity leave, the reduced unfair dismissal qualifying period commencing in April 2027, and updated rights for zero-hours and variable-hours workers.
Parties, job title and duties, start date and continuous employment, place of work, hours, pay (including statutory uplift compliance), holiday, sick pay, pension auto-enrolment, notice, restrictive covenants where proportionate, ERA 2025-aligned rights, and the standard discretionary terms (probation, garden leave, payment in lieu of notice).
