UK cookie policy compliant with PECR and UK GDPR. Covers essential, analytics and marketing cookies. Required separately from your Privacy Policy. From £4.99.
A Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies a website uses, what each does, and how the user can control them. It satisfies the disclosure requirements of regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), which sits alongside the UK GDPR.
Any website that places cookies — strictly necessary, analytics, advertising, social media or otherwise — needs a Cookie Policy in addition to a Privacy Policy. PECR requires consent for any non-essential cookie before it is placed; the Cookie Policy makes that consent meaningful by explaining what the user is consenting to.
Cookie categories and purposes (strictly necessary, analytics, marketing, third-party), specific cookies in use with retention periods, the consent mechanism, opt-out instructions, third-party cookie disclosures, ICO complaints route, and the post-DUAA 2025 alignment between PECR and UK GDPR.
